Victorian tiles

We looked at lots of Victorian tiles and noticed the repeated patterns.

Then we discussed the colours which had been used.

We enjoyed recreating parts of the design.

We used tile pieces to make our own pattern.

Using clay, we practised rolling, squeezing and manipulating the clay. We worked with different tools to etch and carve.

We designed our own Victorian tile and made it out of clay.
